The Riverside Cafe in Stamford is to reopen in the coming weeks after a refurbishment.

The landlords of the building in Wharf Road are currently redecorating and hope to open a combined cafe, bistro and entertainment venue later this month.

The cafe under previous co-owners Nikki Graham, Simon Whatling and Lisa Scott closed on Saturday. The team took over 18 months ago. Nikki thanked customers for their support.

A previous version of this story said the Riverside Cafe had closed completely. We are happy to clarify the situation.
