THE A15 in Morton has reopened following a crash.
Police, fire and rescue and air ambulance attended the crash, which involved a Fiat van and a BMW and happened yesterday (Tuesday) at 4pm.
A 22-year-old woman from Skellingthorpe, near Lincoln, was driving the Fiat van and a man, 61, from Peterborough, was driving the BMW.
Fire crews attended and cut them free from their vehicles.
They were both airlifted to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.
The woman has serious injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.
The man also sustained injuries which are not life threatening.
The road was closed at the Haconby crossroads and traffic was diverted through the village of Haconby. It reopened at about 8.30pm.
