A brand new Cannondale road bike has been stolen from a shed outside a house in the Deepings.

The turquoise road bike, which had a small tool bag under the seat, was taken from the shed of a garden in King Street overnight between Thursday and Friday.

Anyone with information should call 101, quoting incident 72 of April 8, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Meanwhile, police believe a group of men seen in the Bourne area on Friday trying to sell chainsaws, pressure washers and generators may be rogue traders.

They were in a silver van and anyone who knows them should call police on 101, quoting incident number 174 of April 8.
