Essential maintenance and resurfacing work on the A606 has been delayed due to bad weather.
The A6006 between Whissendine Road, just outside Langham and the Leicestershire border, has been closed for maintenance since Monday.
Due to bad weather, the road will not reopen over the weekend, as planned and will remain closed until Monday afternoon.
This delay has also impacted planned work on the A606 between Hambleton junction and Barnsdale Hill, which will now commence on Tuesday.
Drivers will be diverted via the A6003, A47 and B6047 during the closure.
The road will close again from Monday until November 28 between Hambleton and Barnsdale for resurfacing with local traffic diverted via the C8324 Barnsdale Avenue and B668. Heavy goods vehicles will be diverted via the C8326 Manton to Edith Weston road and A6003.
Work on the A15 through Baston started on Thursday. The road will be closed from 6pm to midnight for seven nights for resurfacing.
Traffic will be diverted via A1175, A6121 and A151. Residents will have access to their properties.
