A YOUNG musician has been raising money for injured servicemen with concerts at a park.
Viola player Rosie Harvey, 9, of All Saints’ Place, Stamford, has been entertaining visitors to The Meadows, in Stamford, over the last few weeks with concerts.
She has raised an estimated £70 for Help for Heroes with three performances.
Rosie has been playing the viola for two years and performed classics such as Edelweiss. She hopes to go out again.
She was inspired to help after seeing pictures of wounded servicemen.
Rosie said: “I have enjoyed it very much.”
Her mum Celia said: “People have been very generous.”
