AN ANIMAL charity has thanked a farming supply firm for a donation of food.

CWG Farm and Country, based in Uffington Road, Stamford, has been donating a weekly supply of animal food to the RSPCA’s Peterborough and District Branch.

The firm has supplied damaged bags of food rather than throwing them away. The food is used to feed a variety of animals, from dogs to horses.

RSPCA branch manager Paul Markley said: “We were absolutely delighted when the company said they would donate bags of food weekly to us for free and it makes such a huge difference to us.”
