A man from Rutland donned his running shoes at the weekend, completing the Great North Run in a time of one hour and 50 minutes, in aid of For Rutland - In Rutland.

Nick Healey took on the challenge to help the charity, which has provided his family and friends with support.

For Rutland -In Rutland provides a vital service at Citizens Advice Rutland, giving non-medical advice on cancer, dementia and other long term illnesses.

After recovering from this race, Nick will also be running the Rutland Marathon on September 27 and in Peterborough’s Great Eastern Run on October 11, wearing his For Rutland - In Rutland colours.
