Cuckoo Farm Campsite in Ketton in Rutland is named as one of the 10 best new campsites in Britain
Cuckoo Farm Campsite in Ketton has been named as one of the 10 best new campsites in Britain by high street retailer Blacks.
The organic farm is family-run, dog-friendly and allows campfires.
There is also river to splash in, a farm shop for supplies and the chance to collect your own eggs.
A spokesman for Backs, said: "It may be rainy now, but a few extraordinarily sunny days of recent offered a tantalising taste of the spring and summer to come.
"Longer days ahead mean more time to enjoy the great outdoors and at Blacks we’ve been thinking of ways to make the most of it.
"Camping is top of the list and with help from our friends at Cool Camping, we’ve spotted ten new camping and glamping sites to visit this year.
"Whether it’s a family break in the holidays or a couple’s getaway, there’s something for everyone included.
“Cuckoo Farm Campsite is a particular favourite of ours, offering an organic camping experience with campfires and dogs allowed.”
The other nine sites to make the list are Dam View in Stirling, Kentmere Farm Pods in Cumbria, Amber’s Bell Tents at Hopton Court Estate in Shropshire, Hidden Valley Camping in Worcestershire, Ferrygate Lane Camping in Norfolk, 68 Degrees West in Powys, Cowpots Camping in Carmarthenshire, Rankins Farm in Kent and Pete's Field also in Kent.
