Rutland County Council and Oakham police to give guidance on mobility scooters

Have your say

FREE advice is on offer for those thinking of getting a mobility scooter.

Rutland County Council has joined forces with Oakham police to host an event between 2pm and 4pm on July 26 at the council offices in Catmose, Oakham.

People will be given guidance on what to consider when purchasing a scooter and how to adhere to the Highway Code when they are out and about.

It is hoped that if enough people turn up, a practical training event will also be organised.
