Rutland NSPCC Celebrity Christmas Carol Concert talks place at All Saints' Church in Oakham on Monday




The beginning of Rutland’s festive season will be marked on Monday, December 2 with the magical Rutland NSPCC Celebrity Christmas Carol Concert at All Saints’ Parish Church in Oakham.

This promises to be an evening of Christmas delights, guaranteed to bring laughter and festive fervour. The sparkling mix of carols and readings will make the audience think, laugh, and reflect.

Readings from some of our greatest literature will be recounted by celebrities such as the Rev Richard Coles, Christopher Villiers, Lars Tharp, Nigel Colborn, Anne Davies, Tim Hart and David Farrer QC.

The music will be provided by the Rowell Camerata and Foresters Brass Band and the evening will be compered by Caroline Aston.

The doors will be open from 6.45pm, guests should be seated by 7.20pm. Tickets cost £15 from James Sellicks - 01572 724437 and Don Paddy’s, Uppingham - 01572 822255.
