Rutland nurse appointed director of quality at Manchester's NHS Nightingale Hospital North West
A nurse from Rutland who has worked on UK aid responses around the world has begun a key role at one of the new Nightingale hospitals.
David Anderson will be working at the new 648-bed field hospital in Manchester, which was opened on Friday last week by health secretary Matt Hancock.
The 51-year-old gained expertise in treating patients with highly infectious viruses during the West Africa Ebola epidemic in 2014.
