Yet another lifesaving defibrillator has been installed in the county thanks to numerous kind donations.

The equipment on the Old Smithy in Burley-on-the-Hill was paid for by village residents at a coffee morning earlier this year, and a donation from the Karen Ball Fund, which has so far helped pay for 37 defibrillators in Rutland.

An awareness session for residents has been held. Pictured are, from left, Martin Fagan of the Community Heartbeat Trust, Juliet Burgess-Ray of the Karen Ball Fund, and residents Rosemarie Grimley and Penny Allen.
