FUNDRAISERS have raised £365 at a table top sale at Ryhall Village Hall.

The money will go towards the upkeep of the village church.

Chairman of St John’s the Evangelist Church fundraising committee John Finden said: “It was a very successful table top sale.

“We had more than 100 people there, which is very good, and 18 stalls plus refreshments.”

The event on Saturday was well supported by villagers from Ryhall and the surrounding area.

The committee raised more than £100,000 over recent years to fund the north porch project.

John, 70, of Saint Tibba Way, Ryhall, said: “I would like to thank all my helpers who made the day successful, and would just like to appeal for more helpers, who are always welcome to get involved.”
