Police attend hunt in Leicestershire after assault

LEARN MOREPolice are appealing for witnesses after reports of assaults at a hunt.
On Saturday (November 27), Leicestershire Police was notified that two people had been assaulted while monitoring a hunt in Leicestershire.
Officers attended and two men identified themselves as victims.
They expressed a wish to continue monitoring the hunt and an arrangement was made to make further contact.
However, a call was received a short time later stating that one of the men required medical treatment.
He was located by officers, who took him to hospital so appropriate treatment could be provided.
Inquiries into the incident are continuing and any witnesses are asked to contact Leicestershire Police quoting reference 21*691610.
