Santa Fun Run at Rutland Showground in Oakham is a success for Rotary Club of Rutland

Thanks to a host of Santas about £1,500 was raised at the weekend to support people and projects in Rutland.

The Santa Fun Run at Rutland Showground in Oakham on Saturday was organised by members of the Rotary Club of Rutland.

President of the club Clive Sherwood thanked firms who sponsored the fundraiser, and the Lord Lieutenant of Rutland Dr Sarah Furness for starting the race, and High Sheriff of Rutland Margaret Miles for taking part.
