Pupil at The Deepings School has coronavirus but actions mean other children were not at risk

A pupil at a school with about 1,400 children on the roll has tested positive for coronavirus.

The Deepings School pupil received their test result yesterday (Monday, September 29) but, due to actions taken by their family and the school, no one else needed to self isolate.

It follows a pupil at Casterton College near Stamford testing positive for Covid-19 over the weekend , and its Year 9 pupils having to stay at home, and a group of children and adults at Bourne Abbey Academy also having to self-isolate after a member of staff was diagnosed with the virus.
