Scrap cars, farm equipment and 50 tonnes of astro turf ablaze in Edenham

Crews from Bourne, Market Deeping, Stamford and Corby Glen all attended a fire in Edenham this afternoon.

At 3.09pm they were called to the blaze on Scoth Farm Road, Edenham.

It caused damage to 50 tonnes of waste astro turf, two scrap cars and approximately one tonne of scrap farm equipment.

The fire was extinguished with hosereels and the farmer’s teleporter.

It was caused by a nearby bonfire that had spread.
