One of Deeping’s most famous residents is still being spotted down at the Low Locks in Deeping St James, he arrived four weeks ago.

The seal now know as Sammy was spotted this week laying on the river bank, by a number of dog walkers and local residents, including Linda Hickson who saw the seal on Sunday whilst out dog walking. The RSPCA are still aware that the seal is in the area and are checking up on it regularly.Photo: Linda Hickson
