The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials is seeking the 'Face of Burghley 2019.'

The event, to be held during September 5-9, with 160,000 visitors expected, wants to find an amateur male and female model aged 17 or over "who encapsulate the verve, style and values of the event."

The competition is being run in association with Oakham-based EMG Management, international photographer Ruthie Deane, Pride magazines and Stamford-based Gerards Hair.

The winning models will star in a professional photoshoot from Ruthie Dean and feature in the event's 2020 marketing campaign.

They will also receive prizes worth more than £2000, including professional photographs from Ruthie Deane.

The closing date for entries is July 22, with shortlisted entries judged at the George Hotel, Stamford on August 22.

The photoshoot will take place on September 5 at the trails.

Elizabeth Inman, Event Director of Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials said: “We are delighted to launch the Face of Burghley 2019. Who better to star in our marketing campaign than our own visitors who capture the true spirit of Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials?”

Furthermore, the organisers seek a canine model in association with dog food brand Autarky.

Over Burghley's four days, dog owners must submit photos of their dogs taking on the Autarky Dog Agility. Simply use the hashtag #activewithautarky and tag @lrbht_official.

Burghley’s Top Dog will be chosen at the end of the event and the winner will receive prizes worth over £300.

Burghley Park is set to partially close for preparations for the trials to take place. All the details here
