Second person airlifted to hospital from Stamford
A second person has been airlifted to hospital from Stamford in less than 24 hours.
A spokeswoman for the East Midlands Ambulance Service said they had received a call on Thursday, July 26, shortly before 12.30pm to say that someone had collapsed.
She said: “We received a call at 12.26pm on 26 July to a commercial premises on West Street in Stamford.
"The caller reported that someone had collapsed.
"We sent two crewed ambulances, a paramedic in an ambulance car and the air ambulance, and one patient was taken to Lincoln County Hospital by air ambulance."
On Wednesday, July 25, a patient was taken to Coventry and Walsgrave General Hospital by the air ambulance.
Emergency services received a call to attend the incident at a private address in Churchill Road shortly after 8pm.
