A catering company has suddenly ceased trading in Stamford.
Thierry Daugeron Catering Limited, which was run by French chef Thierry Daugeron, who was director of the business, stopped trading on Monday.
The company ran the Riverside Cafe, Chandelier Restaurant and Wine and Tapas bar out of rented space at the Riverside complex in Wharf Road, Stamford.
Twelve full-time staff at the catering firm, which opened a year ago, were made redundant.
However the cafe at Riverside, reopened on Wednesday under the management of Mr Daugeron’s former staff who were made redundant.
As a result there have been no job losses.
The cafe’s cakes and pastries will continue to be supplied by Sarah Pope.
The bar and restaurant on the top floor of the building, will now be run by the building’s owners as a function room for events and conferences.
Mr Daugeron said his business Thierry at Home Catering and Stamford Cookery School would continue to trade from his home on the outskirts of Stamford.
