Coronavirus: Thurlby Post Office and Store offers home delivery for people in self-isolation




A village shop will be offering free home delivery for people in self-isolation.

Thurlby Post Office and Store announced the news on their Facebook page earlier today and have already had many enquiries.

Owner of Thurlby Post Office and Store, Pav Samra, said: "Some of the elderly customers mentioned going into self isolation and asked if we were going to do home delivery.

"It's a good opportunity to give back."

Pav, who will be making the deliveries, is expecting to offer this service until the pandemic is over.

The service is only applicable to those living in Thurlby and is subject to availability of stock.

People are encouraged to call the shop on 01778 422153 or message them on Facebook for more information.
