MONEY stolen from a charity box has been replaced by shoppers.

Customers at Morrisons in Uffington Road, Stamford, have raised £342.50 in support of wounded paratrooper Pte Luke Morrison.

Luke, his family and friends are raising money for Afghan Trust and service charity SSAFA.

Last week thieves stole a charity box raising money in Luke’s name from the Jolly Brewer, in Foundry Road.

The box has not been found and no arrests have been made.

Fundraiser Martin Conneely, who has put out the boxes, has thanked Morrisons.
