Sight-loss charity calls for new volunteers

Have your say

A charity which helps people with sight problems is on the lookout for new volunteers.

Vista, which provides services to people with sight loss in Rutland, needs people to empty their collection boxes.

Volunteers would need to empty the boxes, count donations and bank the money.

The boxes generate over £25,000 a year for Vista, and volunteers carrying out this work mean that all of the money raised can be used to fund the charity’s services.

The charity also wants people to help out with bucket collections across the area.

The role can be as big or small as you like and can easily fit around other commitments.

Those interested in the voluntary role should call Manisha on 0116 249 8801.
