Baston could become carbon neutral as new environmental group says more people are taking notice of nature during lockdown
Several groups and individuals are coming together with the idea of making their village carbon neutral.
Although the plans by the Baston Naturehood group have paused because of coronavirus, members are hopeful that more villagers will become interested as they take notice of nature during their daily exercise.
The group’s aim is for the 600-home village to become carbon neutral, through reducing the carbon footprint and creating wildlife-friendly places.
