Oakham-based business EducationCity recently hosted a visit from owners and teachers from the BEST International Kindergarten Group in China.

The BEST International Kindergarten Group is one of EducationCity’s longest standing customers and they teach English to three to five year old Chinese pupils using the local company’s online product.

EducationCity has over 15,500 schools and educational establishments, from over 70 countries worldwide using its online educational platform, and the BEST International Kindergarten Group, are serviced by EPSO (Beijing), EducationCity’s partner in China.

When the owners and teachers from the company visited, they were also joined by EPSO’s managing director, Henry Qu.

During the visit, the owners and teachers, as well as Henry, got involved in a number of interesting activities.

Not only were they given a tour of EducationCity and shown what goes on, but they were also shown the latest product innovations, including Mandarin Chinese translation activities.

However, one of the main surprises came when they were visited by Klara, one of EducationCity’s main characters, which they enjoyed thoroughly!

The group finished their visit with a photo with EducationCity staff.

Richard Whalley, managing director of EducationCity, commented: “We have worked with Henry and his team in China for over five years and it was a great pleasure to host him and our joint clients, BEST International Kindergarten Group.

“This is a significant partnership for us as we continue to grow internationally and as well as showing off our latest product innovations, it was lovely to show them a little bit of Oakham and Rutland as part of their UK visit.”
