LEARN MOREA choir has sang its praises to a hospice by donating more than £600.
One A’Chord Choir has donated £615 to Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice in Peterborough.
The money was collected from proceeds of the choir’s Christmas concert and they asked for donations instead for tickets.
Members of the choir also held raffles to raise more money.
Joely Garner, who is on the fundraising team for the charity, went to receive the cheque last week and listen to the choir rehearse.
The choir meet every Wednesday evening at 7.30pm in the church rooms in Barn Hill.
