Owners offer £500 reward for safe return of stolen cockapoo Riz

Devastated dog owners are offering a reward to help find their cockapoo which they believe was stolen.

Riz was sleeping in a van parked in Main Street, Tinwell, on Tuesday afternoon while builders worked on her owners' house.

At around 3pm Rob and Lynsey Perkins noticed the van doors were open. The vehicle had been ransacked and three-year-old Riz was missing.

Nothing else was taken.

Lynsey said: "She is a nervous little dog and will be very frightened. We are praying she is brought back safely to us."

Riz is ginger coloured and has a white patch on her chest. She is micro chipped.

Leicestershire Police appealed for witnesses to call 101 quoting incident 372 of October 15.

A £500 reward is available from the owners who can be contacted on 07984 497805.
