Plans have been announced for a solar farm which could generate enough energy to power 14,400 homes.

A consultation has started so residents can have their say on plans for the 200-acre solar farm in Exton.

The team behind the project, Econergy, says the solar panels are expected to generate up to 49.9MW, enough renewable electricity to power 14,400 homes, while the energy storage system has a capacity of up to 45MW. The energy stored on site would be released to the grid when it is needed the most.
