Braceborough man releases debut album Picture The Scene

A 20-year-old singer-songwriter has released his debut EP.

Lewis Speirs, who also goes by Picture The Scene, co-produced the EP alongside his friend Ben Smith.

His latest single and the closing track, Picture The Scene, was inspired by Lewis trying to make sense of how and why somebody close is slipping away.

Lewis, from Braceborough, said: “In many ways, Picture The Scene was my way out of that time and bought closure and a way to move forward and so I had to name it after the band, with one being born as a reaction to that time and the other being born as closure to it.”

He added: “The last song, Picture The Scene, sums up that whole period perfectly for me. I knew as soon as I had written it that it was going to end the record, it’s about that feeling when you’ve crossed the point of no return; where something has permanently changed.”

The EP is now available on Spotify and SoundCloud.
