Steve Bowyer, chief executive of InvestSK, said: “Exhibiting at MIPIM UK was the perfect chance to showcase South Kesteven to national property developers, agents and investors.

“South Kesteven has a fantastic business offer and this was the show to shout about it.”

The high-profile two-day event went ahead at London’s Olympia and was attended by more than 2,500 delegates.

It’s the biggest British exhibition and conference for property professionals.

The massive show provides the ideal marketplace for UK players as well as international investors to meet up.

InvestSK used its exhibition stand to promote South Kesteven and highlight 300 acres of commercial development opportunities available across the district.

“We had some great conversations with potential investors and interested businesses which we are already following up,” said Mr Bowyer.”

Coun Matthew Lee, the council leader and InvestSK chairman, said: “Events like this are great for raising the district’s profile.

“I was particularly pleased to meet so many private sector representatives.”
