National Trust property Priest House in Easton-on-the-Hill to host special exhibitions this Summer




One of the National Trust’s smallest properties - Priest’s House, Easton-on-the-Hill - has two temporary exhibitions this summer.

Historical Local Airfields highlights Easton’s historic links with RAF Wittering and the earlier airfields on the site - Stamford and Easton/Collyweston airfields. Easton-on-the-Hill Horticultural and Crafts Society Centenary shows records and photographs of the Society’s activities throughout its 100 year history.

Collyweston slating and mining is a permanent exhibition that now includes two short videos showing work taking place in Claude Smith’s mine in Collyweston.

The building will be manned every Sunday from 2pm to 4.30pm during July and August. For access out of these times please contact one of the keyholders, shown on the notice board, between 10am and 5pm.
