SHOPPERS have been raising money to go towards training guide dogs.

Customers at Specsavers in High Street, Stamford, have been donating to the Guide Dogs charity since 2009.

This week, store manager James Keyworth thanked them for their support. He said: “Every pound we collect helps the charity train another guide dog puppy to improve the quality of life for a blind or partially sighted person, potentially in our own community.”
