Speed signs to be put up in Stamford

Speed signs are set to be put up around Stamford to encourage people to reduce their speed.

At a Stamford Town Council meeting on Tuesday night (July 27), the clerk, Patricia Stuart-Mogg, told counsellors that she has been granted permission to put up 30mph speed limit signs around the town.

The locations where the signs will be put up include Fitzwilliam Road, which the councillors raised as an issue.
