It will include a session to look at how the UK’s departure from the European Union stands to affect local businesses, as well as providing delegates with information and practical advice.

Guest speaker Richard Olsen, senior business advisor at Brexit4Business, will be on hand to help businesses grasp important changes to legislation and the regulatory landscape after Brexit.

Key topics will cover business continuity, the importing and exporting of goods to and from the EU and international markets, as well as the EU Settlement Scheme, for those individuals and employers concerned about how this will impact them.

Business representatives will also be asked to contribute to discussions about what Rutland’s local economy should look like in future and help shape the council’s five-year economic plan.

There will also be networking opportunities, offering delegates the chance to discuss the main issues and topics affecting their businesses.
