Have your say

Staff and customers at Tesco in Oakham are attempting 90,000 steps, the equivalent to scaling Mount Snowdon five times, to raise funds for Diabetes UK.

The challenge starts tomorrow (Friday) and runs until Sunday at the store in South Street.

The event is part of the supermarket’s national initiative which is aiming to raise £10m for the charity.

There will be other activities in the store over the weekend to support the charity.

Manager Andy Cockayne said: “Colleagues at the store are really looking forward to stepping up to the challenge.”
