A pop-up art show raised £5,079 for the Stamford branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Twenty-five artists donated more than 100 works to the show, held on Saturday, October 10. A private view the previous day was attended by several local businesses, Stamford and Bourne MP Nick Boles (Con) and charity supporters.

Fundraiser Ellen Chisholm said: “The Art Show Pop Up was a huge success due to the high quality and quantity of the art, and a real desire from people in Stamford to support our charity. I’d like to thank all of the artists, in particular Beach-o-matic, for helping us to support people living with motor neurone disease.”
