Stamford and Rutland MPs send well wishes to Prime Minister Boris Johnson who is in hospital with coronavirus

The MPs in Stamford and Rutland have sent their well wishes to the Prime Minister who is in hospital.

It was reported yesterday that Boris Johnson had been taken to hospital in London, after suffering with the symptoms of Covid-19 for more than a week. It is understood Mr Johnson was admitted on the advice of a doctor as a precautionary measure.

Stamford and Grantham MP Gareth Davies and Rutland and Melton MP Alicia Kearns, both members of the Conservative Party, wished him well on Twitter.
