Stamford farmer wins national competition

Tim Beaver, of Church Farm, Duddington has been named as the lucky winner of a national competition run by plant breeders, Limagrain UK.

The competition, which was hosted as part of the British Beet Research Organisation summer open days earlier this summer, was entered by over 260 farmers.

Tim is pictured receiving his Kindle from Ron Granger, arable technical manager from Limagrain.
