MODELS strutted their stuff on the catwalk to raise money for charity.

A fashion show held by the Inner Wheel club of Stamford on Wednesday last week raised £1,500 for good causes around the town.

Nine models wore a range of spring and summer fashions from Cindy’s Fashions of Sutton Bridge at the event at Stamford Arts Centre.

A raffle was also held, with prizes including afternoon tea for two at the George Hotel, lunch for two at the Garden House Hotel and lunch for two at the Crown Hotel.

The event was organised by Inner Wheel president Celia Fisher, who thanked the Burghley Estates for the use of the premises, the staff at the Arts Centre and everyone who had contributed to making the evening such a success.

A club spokesman said: “The evening went very smoothly, the models looked fantastic and they all did really well on the catwalk. We were full to capacity and the audience had a great time.”
