Stamford and District Kiwanis have appointed a new president.

Steve Marsh has taken over from David Epps, and will take on the role for 2016. The group runs events and raises money for good causes in and around Stamford.

Some of the events organised by the Kiwanis are the parade of floats at Stamford Festival, taking place this yea on July 2; the bonfire and fireworks at Stamford Welland Academy, this year on November 5; and the Santa’s sleigh route at Christmas.
