Stamford mayor Breda Griffin was accused of ‘stifling debate’ at a meeting of Stamford Town Council this week.

The agenda for Tuesday night’s meeting had highlights like “max 10 minutes” by each item.

Coun Bill Turner said: “It’s a stifling of debate and against standing orders.”
