The owners of a nursery are appealing for donations to take to Croatia for refugees.

Ed and Claire Kenyon, who own the Children’s Garden Day Nursery in Broad Street, Stamford, will be taking donations to Croatia when they visit during the half-term break with their three children.

They hope their donations will benefit refugees stranded on the Slovenia border.

Anyone who wishes to donate to the cause can take items such as sleeping bags, tents, and warm clothes, such as coats, hats and scarves, to the nursery by no later than Monday, October 12.

The couple are also fundraising to buy goods to take with them. To donate visit www.crowdfunding.justgiving.com/claire-kenyon.
