Stamford pub burgled - police ask for help in tracing two suspects

Police have appealed for assistance in tracing two people following a burglary at a pub in Stamford.

Community policing inspector for Stamford, Bourne and the Deepings, Inspector Ian Martin, said the incident had taken place at The Bull and Swan in High Street St Martin's, Stamford on July 10.

“The incident in question resulted from forced entry to a secure door to the kitchen by using a flat bladed implement," said Inspector Martin.

"Once inside the suspects have stolen about 30 professional chef knives, a laptop computer and an aerial drone.

"Enquiries are ongoing, but if anyone knows anything about the burglary then please do contact 101 or submit the information anonymously through crime-stoppers online or by calling 0800 555 111,” he said.

Stamford Police also Tweeted about the matter asking for assistance in tracing the suspects.

"Police would like to speak to them with regards to a burglary at The Bull and Swan in Stamford.
