SIX young walkers tackled three Yorkshire peaks in aid of a breast cancer charity.

Stamford Endowed School pupils Beth McGarrick, from Belton, Catherine Terry, from Barrowden and Evie Parr, Luke Higgins, Ewan Fraser and Lauren Rigby, all from Stamford, walked up and down Whernside, Pen-y-gent and Ingleborough on July 26.

The walk set the group of 17-year olds well on their way towards their £1,000 tagret, which will be donated to the Coppafeel charity.
