Stamford campaigners step up fight over Longhurst Group's plans for 33 homes on Cherryholt Road

Residents campaigning against plans for 33 ‘affordable homes’ on green space in Stamford are ‘very angry’ about the scheme.

Around 50 gathered at the St Mary’s Vaults pub in St Mary’s Street on Wednesday night as part of their campaign against the application from the Longhurst Group for the land off Cherryholt Road.

The housing association has submitted its application to South Kesteven District Council and residents heard how best to show their opposition.
