A fire at Stamford train station on Saturday, October 18 was deliberate. It caused £200 damage. British Transport Police officer Pc Sean White said: “It was started under the road bridge at the bottom of the station car park between 9pm and 10pm. A railway sleeper and a fence were damaged.” An empty bottle of white spirit and alcohol cans were found at the scene.
