Day out in Harringworth

A Day Out In The Welland Valley promises something for everyone on Saturday, June 29. From trainspotters and cyclists to those looking for a traditional summer fete, this event has it all.

The Flying Scotsman will steam over the Harringworth viaduct at 10am before travelling on to Oakham, Melton Mowbray and York. Visitors can view the exhibition in Harringworth’s St John the Baptist Church from 10am to midday or take part in the Family Eye Spy cycle trail.

Harringworth Fete will run from 11am to 2pm and include: pony rides, games, stalls, barbecue and refreshments. Free parking will be available from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
