A student from Bourne is hoping for your votes to see her through to the semi-finals of the Miss England contest.

Annabelle Potts, 21, is one of 12 contestants competing in the fourth semi-final heat.

The public vote is now well underway and acts as one judge on the panel. Annabelle needs the support of the local community before voting lines close in order to secure a place in the Miss England semi-final held at Kelham Hall in Nottinghamshire on June 11.

Judges include Miss England 2015 Natasha Hemmings, who will decide who is the most photogenic.

The girls will be invited to participate in a Sports and Eco fashion round, where contestants are invited to create an outfit made from recycled materials as well as raising funds for the Miss World charity Beauty with a Purpose all now part of the competition.

“The competition is about being beautiful inside and out, we are not just looking for a pretty face” says Miss England national director Angie Beasley.

You can vote for Annabelle by texting MISS SEMI02 to 63333. Text votes costs 50p.

The voting line will close on April 14 at midday.
