New College Stamford music and production performers to launch their eighth extended play recording under their own record label, Infinity Records
College music students will have their work streamed to the whole world thanks to the release of an extended play recording.
Performers from the music performance and production course at New College Stamford will launch the recording with live performances at two parties: one on Tuesday, December 10 at the Met Lounge in Peterborough and Wednesday, December 11 at Mama Liz’s bar in Stamford.
This is the eighth volume that New College Students have created under their own record label, Infinity Records.
The Martini Police, Spherical, Cerberus, Komorebi and Strange Quintet are just some of the performers that will feature.
Sam Chapman, lecturer in music performance and production, said: “This is something we do every year.
“It’s just giving to the students experience of recording and being in a studio but also to experience performing live.
“Some of them will be performing for the first time so it will be a really good project for them.”
The extended play recording will be made available on all major streaming platforms such as Spotify from January.
Sam said any money raised covers the costs of the recording and putting it on the streaming platforms.
Both launch parties start at 6.30pm with tickets costing £4.
They can be purchased from www.skiddle.com by searching for ‘Infinity EP Launch’ or can also be purchased on the door.
